So with all the excitement going on around kernel 2.6.38 and me not wanting to wait for Fedora 15 to try it out (I usually stick with even numbers of Fedora – just too much trouble to upgrade every 6 months), I downloaded and compiled it from the Fedora 15 testing repo.

I did not try to build the kmod-nvidia* packages, just downloaded the driver from NVIDIA and re-installed the old-fashioned way.
